Wrinkle Relaxers

Wrinkle relaxers are used to stop the movement of muscles in the face to varying degrees. This gives the overlying skin the chance to rest and improve the appearance of expression lines. Static lines that are present at rest may require multiple treatments or be coupled with dermal fillers for best results. The results can last up to 3-4 months.

Wrinkle relaxers can treat wrinkles in many areas of the face, including:
• Forehead
• Frown Lines
• Crow’s Feet
• Bunny Lines
• Chin Dimples

They can also be used to treat:
• Masseter Muscles (for teeth grinding and facial slimming)
• Gummy Smile
• Hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating)
• Platysma or Neck Bands

How much do they cost?

Due to strict advertising guidelines, we cannot name the brand of wrinkle relaxers as they are a schedule 4, prescription only medication. However – there are two main brands. Your injector can run you through the differences at your appointment. We charge per unit for the wrinkle relaxer treatment. The number of units needed depends on the area treated and individual muscle strength and aesthetic and preferences.

Wrinkle Relaxer Type 2 – $6 to $4.50 per unit (packages available)

Dermal Fillers

Fillers are used to plump out deeper lines or add volume and fullness to a variety of areas. They are made from a naturally occurring complex sugar. This is naturally metabolised by the body. The longevity of the product depends on the product, the amount used, and an individual’s metabolic rate.

Dermal fillers can treat volume loss and fine lines in many areas of the face, including:
• Lips
• Cheeks
• Jawline
• Chin
• Tear Troughs

PDO Mono Threads

Advanced framework for Skin Rejuvenation

PDO (Polydioxanone) threads are synthetic absorbable suture material used in cardiac and paediatric surgeries for over 50 years. The thread lift procedure consists of introducing multiple very gentle threads in an area with 2 actions in mind: a nice initial gentle tightening and a secondary improvement a few months later when the threads are replaced by collagen strands. Once inserted into the skin, PDO mono threads activate collagen synthesis to gradually tighten and rejuvenate the skin. This provides the skin with a tighter feel and appearance and more of a youthful look.

Platelet Rich Plasma

One of the most promising treatments in the latest wave of facial rejuvenation procedures is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. (PRP) facial, popularized as the ‘Vampire Facial’ is a treatment that uses the plasma from your blood to help stimulate skin cell regeneration in the area it’s applied.

PRP contains at least 8 growth factors that will, over a long period of time, continually work like a rejuvenating agent. This treatment isn’t just a trend; it has real skin and hair care benefits.

PRP uses your blood to plasma which the practitioner then injects into the desired areas, not chemicals. This means it’s the ideal procedure for anyone who feels worried about injecting foreign substances into their body.
